Ok, there isn't really much I'm asking for here...... and these suggestionsdon't change gameplay..... so here it goes....

ok, one minor suggestion that I'm sure would be super easy to do is, on the top of the winbolo game screen, where it says "Winbolo". It should also say what port the game is on, and what server, for example:

sheeps.winbolo.us: 62001

then, in brackets, if it's locked, it should say "(locked)"

Also, it should show which players, on the players menu, using a small lock icon, are locked.


Also, as has been recommended before, for all strict (and tournament?) games there should be a little room (like in starcraft) where you can figure out teams and all that stuff, then there will be a countdown, and when it reaches zero, tanks will be able to move (they can't move before that) and the game will begin. (all player's must have clicked a "ready" button before it does).


Either than that, I would like to see all the stuff on oscars winbolo/bolo differences fixed, and, obviously, get rid of damn glitches/bugs! Either than that, there's nothing wrong with winbolo.

Very nice ideas, Q. There are a couple that should be changed a bit, but I agree with the underlying ideas there.

However, what WinBolo needs most is de-bugging. Adding in more features while there are still existing glitches is like interior decorating your house before you've even completed the frame. Winbolo does not really need new features---aside from some problems, the game works fine as-is.

the ONLY new feature, that was not in bolo, which i would like to see implemented, even in the form of a borg, is the ability to see if the game is locked.

Yeah showing the game is locked and showing what server and port isn't that hard..... it just saves time because you don't have to go back to the game joining thingy and look at the port and server....... the chatroom/ gamestarting thing... definitely comes after debugging and making winbolo more like bolo...... nice anology there about the house tho....
