Recent forum posts

The Recent Forum Posts callout now shows the 10 most recent posts instead of just 5. Thanks to FireIce and Min for the suggestion.

That has got to be the quickest idea -> implementation I have ever seen on WBN! Thanks Sheeps and Elvis! Thanks to Min too for bringing up something I had long thought of but hadn't shared with anyone else.

ps. Finally I can die as a Famous Man - I've been mentioned in the WBN News Page :)

An excellent idea, I'm glad it's been implemented.

However, at this time, the last 10 posts in forums have been all in the same thread and they are tiny little posts about nothing in particular.

I was gonna suggest this when I saw the change today, but declined to because I figured we should appreciate positive change one step at a time, but now I think I will anyway:

instead of 10 or 5 most recent posts, how about 10 or 5 most recent THREADS in which posts were made? this could solve that problem.

ya, most times that won't be relevant though ... since today for example its just a few newer players posting back and forth at each other for no particular reason.

ouch. Well, regardless of appearances, bringit and Nova aren't posting on the map forum for 'no reason'. Bringit's learning how to make maps and Nova's helping.

That's a great idea Mad Scout. However, I think it would take a lot more coding to do this then it did to expand from 5 to 10 most recent posts.
