Fermat's Ladder
I would like to introduce my latest feature... Fermat's Ladder:
http://fermat.winbolo.us/bolo/ladder.asp
The ladder and its rules can be found on that page.
It is not to be seen as a replacement for WBN rankings, nor is it meant to acurately represent a players ability. Rather, it is an alternative and fun way to track ones progress relative to others in 1x1's. I've found that with other games a ladder can often encourage more 1x1 play, and hopefully it will do that here as well. All games between 2 registered WBN players will count in the ladder.
I would welcome any suggestions for improvement... additional things to be seen on the page, or on a players info page, or with the rules that goven the ladder.
Note also that, being new, it is likely there is a bug or two, and I would appreciate any and all bug reports sent to fermat@winbolo.us. Also, based on feedback, I may be tweaking the rules a bit and regenerate the ladder from start (my start is Nov 4 2003), so it may happen that things suddenly change around a bit, though I'll try to indicate such major changes clearly on the page.
As always, let me know what you think! Bolo on!
