winbolo tournament

was thinking if there is interest for a 1x1 style tourny, single elimination style similar to skywalkers tournament from a year or two back....

I'm not sure that now is the right time for a tourny maybe wait until thiscomming summer when most of the players start comming back and actively playing again? Just a thought...(And I want too get on top of my game and get ungrounded so I can PWN ren's ass);-) haha well I'll ttul Just try to postpone it if you can maybe another 6 weeks?at the earliest

Figured I'd respond with a definatly not interested, after seeing the result of skywalker's tourney (in respect to the maturity of a couple of players)

though if your gunna do this, make everyone pay a 5 dollar entry fee, the winner gets 3/4 of the money, the second and third place split the rest that way people won't screw around so much, their moneys on the line.

i agree wait for a little while like a month or so manily because of school and all that shit try to do it sometime in winter vacation later

I'd play.... i've improved a helluva a lot since the last tourney. But i'd personally rather see a 2x2 tourney rather than a 1x1 tourney, because..... i play much better in 2x2... usually i let my enemy hold the pill line while i do eveil espionage spiking and win, without getting attacked tons while im gone. But thats just me.... 2x2 might just make it all higguldy-pigguldy :? :P

2x2 isn't really "playing". Btw, I'd play if we had another tourny! I agree tho, that we should hold it in the summer.

If you want a 2x2 tournament, you're probably going to have to organize that yourself. Getting two people into a game is a HELL of a lot easier than getting four people, considering that sometimes people have to leave suddenly, etc.

Agreed, 5 dollars entree fee with 20 + players that need to enter, and the winner will take home $100 or more dollars. 2nd place maybe could win a quarter of the money, 1st can take the other 3/4's. Remember, this doesn't mean necessarily Ud and Ren will be in the final matchup, as everything would be drawn at random, and we could possibly end up playing first against eachother, or within the same brackets. The best time to have a tourny is the winter, mainly because all the eastsiders *pokes stimpy* would be locked in their homes due to the snow storm which is when we probably will get the most out of our winbolo players. All in favor say I! :P
