No more bolo for Brando :(

Hey guys, on friday the 22nd I was in shop class, cleaning up the Ban saw, and cut my finger :-(. I cut my right ring finger, it's about half way through my nail/nail bed, and continues at an angle down through about the middle of the tip of my finger. The saw made it about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch into my bone, and I have 4 stitches. I'm out from bolo for AT LEAST two weeks :'(...To the members of mIRC, I will still be there as much as ever, just dont expect me to type fast ;-)

I just played you in a 2v2 Brando. I lost though ):. But you are playing. Just means your driving sucks. Which also means you got killed a lot and i got to pick up da pills. (:

Well that must really suck Brando, too bad you're stupid enough to cut off your finger with a bandsaw. I'd like to talk to you in IRC, but some asshole has me banned (I don't know why, but I have better things to do right now than bitch about it). I hope you have a speedy recovery, in the meantime, maybe I could actually BEAT you in a game? :lol:

Well Brando, I can't say that I know your pain but I think I can say that I have an idea. A month ago I smashed my thumb. I mean, I smashed it. I was splitting wood next to my house and had a wedge in one particularly stubborn piece of birch and I was using a 3 lb. maul (basically, a short handled sledgehammer) to drive the wedge. In an incredible move of stupidity, I was steadying the wood with my left hand and hitting the wedge with my right. The maul glanced off of the wedge and smashed my thumb between it and the wood. Not only did I break it as shown in the x-ray picture below but also I split the skin wide open, which needed 3 stitches to fix. I said, “ouch.”

And the nastiest part of all this was right after I hit it, I looked at the wound and I could see the insides. Ewww.

It still hurts a little and I had the stiches taken out 2 weeks ago and the cut is still really tender.
