Made this map after talking to sticks about the over played CT3 is. Fewer pills so less pillwars, strategy is a nessicity. Feedback plz.

Currents looks reminds me of Transatlanticism. All the bases are spiked by at least one pill (similar to the Slugwars). There's no clear base run path or strategy.

Only thing that bothers me is what looks the scarcity of trees. Combine the newer stand-off-pill-wall strategy that many seem to deploy with the tree-depleting tactics to turn the game into one of attrition, with the wide-open areas left unguarded by pills, and you have a map thats ripe for raping.

Depending on how quick of a map this is (I don't see many games going past 10-15 minutes), though, I might be worrying over a mute point.

I now edited my "Currents" map to class it either 1v1 or 2v2. The 2v2 is the original with 4 added pills. The 1v1 is smaller, and has a good ratio of pills:bases.

The map collection already had a map called Arrows so I added an extra W so it could go in. So spawn that one as Arrowws on Acrobot I guess.

its a slight polishing up of a map I made a long time ago (mac bolo days) called hexagonal-closest-packed. Thanks min for helping me give it a couple tweaks it needed (including the name!!)
