This is a map of western Whatcom County, Washington, USA for use with
Bolo 0.99.7. I don?t know that the map works with earlier versions, and
if and when a later version of Bolo is release, I don?t know whether
this map will remain compatible. In other words, there are no
guarantees.

If you don?t know what Bolo is, this won?t do you any good until you get
a copy. (And you really should, since it?s incredibly cool.) Check out
the official Bolo archive at ftp://fly.mc.duke.edu/ in the directory
pub/bolo

I created this map of Whatcom in mid-October 1997. I used both BoloStar
and BMAPEdit 3.1 to create it, switching between the two as needed,
since each has a few nice features the other lacks.

This map includes one city (Bellingham), the Lummi Nation, Ferndale,
Lynden, Blaine, Nooksack and Everson. Also featured are Lummi Island and
several smaller islands in Whatcom County, as well as several lakes. The
cities are greatly simplified, of course, but there is some
representation of a few features such as Western Washington University,
Bellis Fair Mall, and several marinas. You don?t need to know anything
about the region to use this map?the islands and highways combine to
make a great, highly-playable terrain.

I?ve been a resident of Washington State for 25 years, and presently
reside in Bellingham, which is a couple hours north of Seattle. Be sure
to look for my Bolo map called Washington State, which includes the
entire state.
