I think this action sounds a little extreme. Since the games were probably being played on renbot. Ren could've blocked the ip address so dan couldn't have joined.
Also, Maxx is correct with his question.... how long?

Look everyone, it's Wonka, savior of the huddled and oppressed masses. He's like the Neo of Winbolo, except that we've already got one of those.
Maybe Ren could have done that, but it's entirely irrelevant. The .us server has rules of etiquette by which people are bound during games, and if you don't follow them, you're not permitted to join .us. The fact that Ren could have enacted that filter doesn't matter a whit, because I don't want Dan joining my games on sheepbot and doing the same thing.
As for the notion that he can get the passwords on .com, well, maybe. But (1) given Dan's behavior, I'm not sure why they'd want him either, and (2) more relevantly, Wonka, wtf do you care whether Dan is banned? Do you think this sort of thing is ok? If so, stay the hell away from me please.
Finally, regarding the length of the ban, how about something like "until Dan figures out what he did wrong." Read his post, rescribed directly below, and tell me whether you think he has. In fact, if you can even figure out what the heck he means, let me know.

Conveniently enough, I am an attorney. I told you before the game in all capital letters that if you played at all, you would be banned from .us, because you'd just ruined the previous game. And you played. Even an elementary school student ought to be able to solve that equation.
And for the record, Ren was not playing me, as you might have noticed by virtue my sitting in the ocean the whole game, which is what you should have been doing. The fact that there were four players in the game has nothing to do with whether it's a 1x1. No one left before you started, if by "started" you mean "started playing," which is usually what that means. The sequence of events was this:
(1) I warn you to be a normal person.
(2) Kas and Ren start playing
(3) You lock/unlock the game 6 times
(4) You say "Let's play" and start driving around the map
(5) Kas quits
(6) You take a base.
Let me know if I'm missing anything, such as what your parents were thinking when they went for number two.
I went back thru the game logs.... i found 2 games were ren, kas, and dan were in the games.

An excellent point. Ren and Kas didn't join the game at the same time. Ergo, it must not have been a 1x1 betwen them. I can't wait for the closing argument.

notice that there was 45 seconds from when ren & kas joined to when dan joined. plus kas allied with someone in the mean time.
This must be the closing argument I was waiting for, becuase it's even worse. So now your point is that, if two players have set up a 1x1 but a third joins soon after the two players join, it's no longer a 1x1? Bravo. Ren was inviting people to watch, and we were letting someone who'd been in the previous game that Dan had Danned. And FYI, Kas allied me, because I was watching. The difference between me and Dan, aside from 17 years of age and 30 years of maturity, is that I took the radical approach of watching from the ocean instead of driving around the map.
Also, no one but ren and kas actually played until both had left game. no bases, no pills.

Ok bright boy, here we go again. Tell me how Dan could have gotten a base in a 1x1 between Kas and Ren, even after the baserun is over. [Kax waits for an answer] [Kax looks at his watch repeatedly] Give up? The answer is that "Kas just left game." That is, Dan started driving his sorry ass around the map, as I said but apparently you didn't read, causing one of the players to quit. Note that "Dan drives around the map with no grace, skill, or sense of propriety" is not an entry that is usually reflected in the game log. After Kas quit, Dan took his bases. If your position is that anything short of taking bases is fair game when you're an observer, maybe you need a talking to as well.
